About me

I would like to introduce myself and my family. My name is Yelena Jennings. Originally I am from Russia, where I earned my master's degree in biological sciences. After graduation I raised my son and worked at the “After school Daycare”. Later I received an offer to work at the Hospital in the Maternity Ward as medical technologist. When I came to America I married my husband Ron Jennings and now I have a wonderful husband and two kids. My son Vladislav is 15, my daughter Nichole is 3.  
    I started my career here as a teacher at the KIDZ INK Daycare Center. I really enjoyed my job there and got great experience working with infants and toddlers.
     Now I've decided to open my own family daycare and dedicate myself to raising, caring for and teaching my own and others' children.

My daycare

My daycare is licensed and insured (Delaware license number is 660366). It is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. I'm certified for infant and children CPR and First Aid. I am also certificatied to administer medications to children.

8:00 am - 8:15 am - Cleanup and hand washing
8:15 am - 8:45 am - Breakfast
8:45 am - 9:00 am - Cleanup, diapers changing
9:00 am - 10:00 am - Group activities (circle games, music play, dancing)
10:00 am - 10:30 am - Project time
10:30 am - 11:45 am - Outdoor play (indoor inclement weather) to exercise large muscles
11:45 am - 12:00 pm - Wash up for lunch, diapers changing
12:00 pm - 12:30 pm - Lunch
12:30 pm - 12:45 pm - Clean up, ready for nap
12:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Nap time
3:00 pm - 3:15 pm - Wake up, diapers change
3:15 pm - 3:45 pm - Snack
3:45 pm - 4:00 pm - Clean up
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Outdoor play
5:00 pm - 5:45 pm - Free play in quiet areas (blocks, puzzles)
5:45 pm - 6:00 pm - Clean up, diapers change
